Paragliding should be fun, safe, and thought of as something that you can do for as long as the passion drives you. As such we take our training methods seriously and work with you towards building each and every new skill on the foundation of those already learned.
Every new task, or lesson should feel like the next natural step, and not the kind of ‘big leap’ that can actually impede the learning process.
We train you not only for today, but with the goal of retaining that knowledge and skill for months and even years down the road (or across the skies!)
WE ARE PROUD OF BEEN TEACHING & TOWING SINCE 2004 ON THE OTTAWA REGION FREE OF ACCIDENT
The Ottawa paragliding school is a club, independent organization and with its own regulatory system, duly certified and legally registered in the Ontario GOV & IS A FLIGHT SCHOOL CERTIFIED BY THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION CANADA

Переглядів 58Місяць тому
Deep Parachutal or Constant Stall Definition: A stall happens when the angle of attack reaches a point where the laminar flow over the wing is detached from the top surface. Unlike full stall, the wing stabilizes in this mode and descends more like a parachute. All 3 terms (Deep Stall, Parachutal Stall, Constant Stall) describe the exact same form of stall. in a parachutal stall, the wing appea...

Winter paragliding training in Ottawa
dam i dont even know if that glider is good but as a canadian i want one (except i dont even paraglide cuz there are no schools for it in manitoba and the landscape here isnt ideal for it)
Parachute, planes paragliding can you be more specific your question its a litter confused
I'm learning to fly the epsilon 9 and I'm an engineering student and I love math and you are the other person I have seen who thought a large aircraft could go into a parachutaul stall. If you throw your reserve and it fills up and you have down plane can you go to a parachute stall with the brakes to keep the area open,?
You can find your answer here skybrary.aero/articles/deep-stall
@@OttawaParagliding that's an excellent resource I'm going to read it all enjoyed your video a great
Wow! Nice!
Beautiful flight and butter landing.
Thanks, I had really smooth winds up the field, so I could concentrate on just timing things right. Probably my best landing yet.
Felicidades Papá Carlos y Carlito
Is there actually a PG school in New Brunswick?
Not sure but it’s one of the best Canadian instructors over there @mike fourgere
Hi! I have a Davinci Tango for sale with 2 hrs. s size. Blue. 1600 euros. Like new. The reason to sell that I have 5 other gliders and more on the way. Are you interested?
Nice!
Hi how can I reach out to you to take a class?
Call anytime 6137966986
fix the rope ladder pls...
Take a couple of steps forward when pulling the risers. Makes it lot easier to control the glider.
Great! Paramotor ridge soaring🤩
i also have a canada flag paraglider here in edmonton alberta
It's nice that you have a school but you should make the minimum number of flights according to the rules for the insurance license that people get if you give more than the minimum and you get them the insurance and better flying skills that's great.
sounds like very good advice to me👍
Thank you Carlos for your advice. I agree with you, at least fly, towing and mountain before to go to motors too fast to handle for your own safety UA-cam doesn’t teach us all the skills and movement for reaction with the wind
I’m lucky to have you my teacher for paragliding I learn a lot from you thank you
Thank you brother
Run Forrest, run 🎉
Nice!!!!! 🪂🪂🪂
FELICITATION! Felicidades! Good coaching and good flying! Bon vole!

Amazing work
Sometimes if it's broke don't fix it. Sometimes if you have no shoes it wouldn't be a good idea to saw off your feet. If it will launch it will fly. If it will fly it will land. If you have a caravatte and it is still flying keep on flying straight pump the brakes try to bump it out but keep on flying the most important thing that you ever do in your life at this moment is keep on flying don't stall something that's flying.
if keep running, you won't feel the cold winter.
nice looking ridge, where is it?
Chile
thank you! “balling up, taking control, looking up, counting to 5, seeing what is happening. Parachute stall? Good times. Hands up and fly away.” Check. 👌

Para un piloto la majic comienza cuando tus pies salen del suelo. Este fue definitivamente un momento "Holly Shit". (Escucha tu video) Felicita a ti, a tu instructor y a los que te hacen creer en tu sueño de vuelo. For a pilot, the magic starts when your feet leave the ground. This was definitely a "Holly Shit" moment. (Listen to your video) Congratulation to you, your instructor, and those who believed in your dream of flight.
